CORONAVIRUS - ART NOW UPDATE
Dear All
Firstly, I would like to thank you for your continued support over the past weeks and I hope that you and your family are keeping well at this time.
This is an update on all current and future ART NOW activities:
- ART NOW gallery visits will resume, hopefully, in late September 2020 - dates will be posted nearer the time
- ULSTER MUSEUM TUESDAY LECTURES
- Decades: 50s & 60s - the last three lectures have been postponed until Tuesday 15th, 22nd and 29th September. These lectures will be on Pop, Op and Kinetic Art. All current class members are invited by the Museum to encourage a friend who might be interested to come along to one or more of the lectures as a free taster. As places in the lecture theatre are limited to 180, please contact the Ulster Museum to book nearer the time.
- The Table - an 8 week series on the table in art will commence on Tuesday 6th October. Book through the Ulster Museum
- The Table - The table has been depicted in art for centuries - as a setting for still life and as a focal point for domestic, religious and political conversation; but it can also reveal the aspirations of class in the display of luxurious food and tableware against the realities of poverty and hunger.
- QUB OPEN LEARNING - SPRING 2020
- Lavery & Luke - Mondays 11th & 18th May - these lectures have been cancelled.
Finally, keep safe and well and I hope to see you again in the autumn.
Amanda
